located). Is also a blend of terroirs, with black silty sandy Basalt (like Etna) and silty clay

Cinsault blend coming from 5 great vineyards, all located in Guarilihue Alto.
All 5 vineyards are old vines (between 45-88 years all), dry farmed on Gobelet system.
Terroir is Sandy to Sandy silty Granite.

MONK
Cinsault single vineyard from the area of Tinajacura, in Guarilihue Alto.
The vineyard was planted in 1995 with 0,82 hectares.
The vineyard is located on the upper part of the hill, and the terroir is a very red,
decomposed, silty Granite with low amounts of Quartz pebbles.
The vineyard is organic (non certified).
Around 2.500 bottles per year are made.
HUB
Cinsault single vineyard from the area of Guarilihue Alto.
The vineyard was planted in 1942 with 0,64 hectares and is one of the oldest Cinsault vineyards in the area.
The soil is a superficial red, silty, decompose granite (0-120 cm) that transforms (>120 cm) into a sandy silty light brown with many quartz pebbles.
The vineyard is organic (non certified). Around 3.200 bottles per year are made.
BLUEPIT
Pais single vineyard from the area of Ñipas.
The vineyard was planted around 1870 with 0,42 hectares and 2.200 vines. The soil is composed by silt clay horizon in the first 70 cm moving to a silty sandy decomposed light yellow brown Granite, full of Quartz.
The vineyard is organic (non certified).
Around 2.400 bottles per year are made.
SOULPIT
Pais single vineyard from the area of Ñipas. The vineyard was planted around 1850 with 0,37 hectares.
The soil is a young alluvial movement from the Itata river composed of a black silty sandy Basalt.
